Our main focus at the beginning was tool and die work along with threading and custom machine work. We stand behind our machine work 100%. Although we still do some tool and die work, we set a goal to get into quality mold building. Starting with manufacturing blow molds, we then added thermoforming and rotational mold building. While we are able to do all of this, the main focus now it long lasting blow molds and injection molds. Using mold inserts and solid modeling of 3D CAD models, we can quickly make design changes, aiming for same day turnaround whenever possible.
In the late 80’s we started into CAD coupled with CAM and CNC milling. From there we quickly purchased a CNC lathe. The decision was made to progress rapidly into the CNC machining and CAM processes.
Solid Modeling and 3D work is done with ProE and SurfCAM, although we still use BobCAD for 2D prints and some CAD/CAM work.
We utilize CNC mills, manual mills, CNC lathe, manual lathe, Cylindrical grinding, Surface grinding, honing, and sandblasting or polishing to produce that you, as a customer, wants and needs.
By installing an ‘H’-frame hoist system, we now have a 5 ton lifting capacity.
We make quality molds for long production runs. Some of our molds have been in use for years running 24 hours a day with only routine preventative maintenance.
